Hi everyone,
Picture this: you’ve created a fabulous hairstyle with bobby pins, you step out the door, and suddenly the pins have fallen down to your chin. Sometimes plain old bobby pins aren’t enough to get the job done. But there’s an easy way to fix this: DIY sticky bobby pins. All you need are bobby pins, hairspray, and paper towel. Adding hairspray to the bobby pins is like adding a small amount of glue so that your hair has something to stick to other than the metal.
Here’s what you’ll need to do:

1. Place a handful of bobby pins on top of a few sheets of paper towel.

2. Spray the bobby pins in a generous layer of hairspray.

3. Fold the sides of the paper towel up toward one another, and shake the contents to evenly distribute the hairspray amongst the bobby pins.

4. Take the bobby pins out, and style away! Don’t wait too long to put them in your hair otherwise the hairspray will dry completely.
Thanks to this clever and easy DIY, gone are the days of fiddling with bobby pins all night. These also work particularly well for people with short hair who are struggling with updos because the hairspray helps all those small strands stay in place.

Hey this is so cool! thanks Mish! :) and when the little rubber at the end of the pin fades away, you can put a little silicon and let it dry, and then it won't hurt when you put it onto your hair :) xo -
