Hi everyone,
Serums are important for your skin because they act like liquid specialists. There's literally a serum for everything; wrinkles, hyper pigmentation, white spots, age spots, firming; you name it and there's a serum to fix it.
Serums have much smaller molecules than moisturizers, which means that you want to apply them first. You have to work quickly though, because serums dry really fast, and you want them to penetrate deep to deliver all of their goodness into your skin.
Depending on your specific beauty needs, there are some pretty amazing drugstore serums that you can pick up and try out, especially if you've never used one before. L'Oreal has really good drugstore serums that are department store quality and same with Roc and Olay. Check them out below:

1. Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum
2. L'Oreal Revitalift Triple Power Serum
3. L'Oreal Visible Lift Serum
4. Roc Skin Renewing Serum
Have you ever used a serum? What do you think?

I can't use Serums on account of how easy I break out. My dermatologist told me that applying TOO many things to your skin is just as bad as not applying any at all. Serum + Moisturizer is too much for me :[ I wish I was genetically gifted! -

Should 12 year olds use anything else besides scrub and moisterizer? Please answer me back Michelle!!!!! -
None of these. All these companies test on animals. I love everything by LUSH, though. Everything is 100% organic handmade, the best of the best & super good for you.

Same problem here! Me too, serum is kinda stuff that I think I should put on my daily treatment routine. But I'm in early 20, not sure it may be applied on my face or not-
It is not too early for you. Even if you can't see it yet, your skin is probably damaged. You could just use something as simple as the foundation above, even though you don't need the lifting or you can add an antioxidant serum to your regimen. They can contain ingredients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, green tea, niacinamide, and alpha lipoic acid. They may minimize the oxidative damage caused by sun exposure and pollution. Read the labels to make sure there is at least one of these ingredients & comparison shop. Serums do not have to be super expensive to work. Just because that's what we see our favorite guru's use all the time, doesn't mean we have to!! And, always wear sunscreen!!!

I dealt with extremley bad acne in my teen years, which left horrible acne scars that were torture to try to cover up everyday :,( Since then, my skin has amazingly cleared up, bu the scars are still pretty visible.
I started using the Lightening Serum, by IMAGE skin care and it has worked fabulously!! Almost all of my acne scars are completley gone and my face feels smoother! I've been using the serum before my mositurizer everyday for about 2 months now. I highly reccomend it! ($30 retail)

I use Live Snail Repair as Serum from Tony Moly. It's good. If I do get a pimple due to hormones, it fastens the healing and leaves my skin glowing. I have tried the olay before. At first try, it did wonders and improved my skin (years ago), but after awhile, I can't see no effect.
When I tried the Snail Repair Serum (while on Olay), it worked for me. My skin looks healthy and glowing with it. Pimple scars even fades out, and also my skin tone evens out a bit.
It's probably not one of the best out there, but for things that I have tried, it's one of the best that comes in a very reasonable price.

i occasionally wear a serum when my skin is feeling dry, but as i have oily skin i won't use one more than twice a week so my skin doesn't feel overloaded :)

I love my Estee Lauder night repair serum. Kinda pricey but it's really worth it. My skin looks flawless even without makeup, it also even out my skin tone. A must try. Instagram: jezastazione
