Hi everyone,
Have you guys heard of the jade roller? It looks like a paint roller, but it has a small piece of jade that you literally roll over your face. While jade is primarily considered an ornamental gemstone, it’s also believed to hold healing powers. The tool was used by the Ancient Chinese for smooth, youthful looking skin, and it’s made a bit of a comeback over the past few years. The jade roller is supposed to improve blood circulation and promote lymphatic drainage, reducing puffiness and eliminating toxins. It’s also been said to tighten the pores because the jade remains cold even when in direct contact with the skin.

To use the jade roller, you simply roll upwards and outwards on your face, neck, and eyes. You literally “lift” the wrinkles and impurities up and out of your skin!
What do you guys think of the jade roller? Have you heard of it or ever used it? Let me know in the comments section!

I have this! I think it feels really nice and relaxing on the skin. I got this originally to massage out the lymph nodes along my jawline and over the months most of them have shrunk :) -

I would try it. I mean anything that works the lymph system would push the toxins out but I think it's cool that the jade would stay cold on your skin. The roller in the picture is only $12.95 so is it fake jade? -
I think I've heard it somewhere, but not in the form of a roller. That jade roller is interesting. I'd give it a try someday. -

I remember when I was in Beijing and they were huge on anything made out of jade, and having it suck out impurities. I was in a high class store that sold authentic jade accessories of all kinds, and the price was astonishing! Then, I went to a local market and saw cheap jade trinkets that were obviously fake. I would definitely try anything that's true jade out, if I had the money. Don't buy cheap jade! Make sure it's real! -
I've tried using a plastic roller thingies for massaging water weight out my cheeks, it does help to look more chiseled but tends to increase chances of breakouts on the area used...
Maybe I'll try this...if I win the lottery... -

I'll probably find one at the Gem Show that just opened (it's the largest in the world)...I'm not sure I believe any of that, but I've seen lots of things like this that have no real backing... -
When I lived in Japan I saw many people doing this. I have never tried it myself though.. Maybe I should give it a shot! -
