Hi everyone,
With the colder months creeping up on us, a good moisturizer should be at the forefront of your beauty calendars. If you're still looking for a good one, I might have a solution - Safflower oil!
Safflower oil is actually in a lot of foods you probably have somewhere in the house. Carthamus tinctorius seed oil is found in many common foods such as mayo, salad dressing, and frozen desserts, but it also has a lot of benefits when used in beauty products for your skin and hair.

Safflower oil basically acts as a moisture barrier to prevent moisture from leaving your skin, so your face will stay hydrated and smooth. It's rich in vitamin E and linoleic acid that have also been proven to naturally activate cell renewal. So not only does Safflower oil keep you skin full of moisture, but it works to repair your skin cells, too! Double bonus! But since it's an oil, products that use Safflower oil are a little better suited for people with normal to dry skin. All of these benefits make the Safflower the next best wonder oil, don't you think?
Have you used products with Safflower oil? What other natural oils do you love in your products?

Almond Oil is great for soothing sensitive or irritated skin - including oily skin and if you are prone to break outs.
I apply before bed, after cleansing and let it soak in for about 5-10 mins, blot to remove excess and see the difference in the morning :)!

so do you just take the oil straight and put it on your face? I'm looking for a good moisterizer!

i've never tried it, but i don't particularly like the idea of applying oils to my face - i use an oil-free moisturiser :)

the only one I can think of for now is argan oil,
I like Josie MAran's Argan oil daily moisturizer with SPF 40+,
