Hi everyone,
Those last few moments when your favorite candle has reached its end, and you realize that not only do you have to buy a new candle, but you have to get rid of the beautiful jar is never a happy one. But luckily, there’s a way to recycle the old candle jars: turn them into makeup brush holders. Candles are the perfect size for holding brushes, tweezers, and eyelash curlers, and the jars will add a pretty decorative flair to any boudoir.
- Wait for the candle jar to cool down. Once there’s little to no wax left, use a pair of tweezers to remove the wick and discard it. If there’s still wax leftover, heat up the jar by placing it in a bowl of hot water to melt the wax.
- Wash out the candle jar with warm water and dish detergent. You’ll want to get all the soot off. Be careful if there’s a sticker on the exterior of the jar that you want to keep—avoid getting it wet, or it might fall off.
- Dry the jar, and arrange your items however you’d like. Et voila! Soak in the glory of your new and beautiful organization method.
Have you ever turned a candle jar into a makeup brush holder? Let me know in the comments section!

you could also paint the inside of the jar with a craft brush with majpaj(its a craft glue that was popular in the 70's srry for the bad spelling!) and then pour some glitter in it, then dump out the excess glitter. wait for it to dry, and put some plant fillers or beads in it and there you go!!! i figured this from a video on youtube by missglamourazzi. michelle phans way is pretty cool too!!!! :) -
I wanted to share with all of you a recipe of how to clean candle jar in 1-2-3!
All you got to do is put your candle jar into freezer for a night or few hours (if you inpatient!). Freezed wax is super easy to remove, works really well if you have some candle leftovers that were a pain to scrab out. -

Because like I think most people heard of/use either Yankee Candle or Bath and Body Work candles. -
Can you do a review on diptyqueparis candles, like the ones you recycled: Figuier, Roses, Baies, and Tubéreuse on youtube or here? -
The way i get wax out of any thing that is glass is put it in the freezer over night. and when u take it out the wax well just fall out of it. :) -

I've been doing it since I finished my giant cinnamon candle, I also have a lemonade jar and smaller candle jars and have all my brushes organized, I add ribbons to the necks of the jars to make them cuter x3. -

As a college student living alone and with a budget, I think i've managed to find uses for most empty jars. Candle jars are the best for glamour, even used one for a vase one time. Also if you clean out the inside and get the label off the front Pasta sauce jars those give a great cottage charm to the decor. -
Actually, another good way of getting wax easily out of a candle is to stick the candle in the fridge. Then the wax will contract away from the glass walls of the candle and then you can chip away at the wax. Freezing the candle also won't damage any pretty labels that you have on the front of your candle.
I also like saving my candle jars and I do this all the time. Cheers! Jillian -
