Member of the Moment: Melissa N.'s Gorgeous Nails

Here at MichellePhan.com, we are always on the hunt for ways to incorporate runway trends into our everyday look. It’s not always easy, but with a few tweaks here and there, it’s totally doable! So when it came time to choose our inaugural Member of the Moment for their take on street-friendly runway trends, we fell in love with Melissa N.’s take on the almost black nail. Take a look at Melissa’s deep purple nails. At first glance, they look black, but if you look closely you’ll see its true color. Her nails are so sleek and almost powerful! Talk about the ultimate statement style item.

I would love to be the next Member of the Moment so I can inspire other women to channel their inner creativity and go beyond the neutral smokey eye~ Applying makeup shouldn't be a boring task but should be fun, empowering and allow the average girl to boost her confidence and feel equally gorgeous! Another good almost black nail polish is Casey by Zoya. It's the best vampy look because the polish is wine colored. 2 coats and you've got the perfect black...I mean, almost black. ^^
