New Tutorial: Back to Basic Beauty
Hi everyone,
It’s a new year—time to start fresh. What better time to try Back to Basic Beauty! Check out my new tutorial for a fresh look:
In case you missed them, here are the products I used to create this look:
I started off by prepping my skin with Josie Maran Argan Oil.
Next, I applied Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm as foundation.
I filled in my brows using a brow pencil, like the Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil.
I used pencil eyeliner, like the L’Oreal Le Kohl Pencil, but applied it with an angled brush.
I ALWAYS curl my eyelashes using my Lancome Le Curler and apply black mascara, like I did here.
To finish off the look, I blended Mai Couture Blush Papier onto the eyelids, brow bones and cheeks.
It’s important to moisturize too. Here, I used Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter.
I sprayed Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Hairspray to tame flyaways.
For the manicure, I used Nailtini Mixer Nail Colors.
And that’s it! Huge thank you to my awesome sister for all her help! :)

The argon oil really absorbs into your skin and fast. The nail polish seems to have a built in quick dry and top coat. I love that. -

Great fresh summer look (here in Chile it's 35 degrees, any makeup melts away)...
Not sure about using the oil though.... it depends a lot on the skin texture... mine would look like a hot mess with oil prepping as oil may clog the pores. I use non-comedogenic moisturizer before applying my base (if I apply any) or concealing.
