Hi everyone,
In my opinion, mineral makeup is one of the greatest recent beauty industry breakthroughs. It’s great for all skin types, especially acne-prone skin because minerals work with the skin’s oils and won’t clog pores, unlike other forms of makeup. Mineral makeup is also totally natural. It’s free of preservatives, chemical dyes and other artificial ingredients commonly found in beauty products, which makes it a great choice for even the most sensitive skin.
These days, there are so many mineral makeup options. For today’s product review, I’m going to give you all the details on MicaBeauty Mineral Blush Powder.
MicaBeauty Mineral Blush Powder - $55

Pros:
- The product has a smooth finish
- It gives you a healthy glow
- A little goes a long way
Cons:
- It’s rather expensive at $55
- Only available in six colors
- The packaging doesn’t have an adjustable cap where you can close the filter
The MicaBeauty blush is definitely a quality product, but it is also the priciest of the mineral makeup options. So how does it stack up against the alternatives?
Both the Everyday Minerals and Bare Minerals blushes boast the same benefits of mineral makeup, have more color options and are less expensive. Bare Minerals Blush also has an adjustable cap so you can close the filter, which is always a good feature. And although you will get less product with Everyday Minerals Blush, at $6 it’s a great bargain buy.

I would love to try this "clean" makeup, but if the product ever came to Australia I would be paying $105 not $55, so for now at leat I'm sticking to my "BB" Cream and Drug Store makeup, it seems to be working fine for my skin and it's Cheaper. -
I haven't tried Mineral Makeup because in this country everything is sooooo expensive, but I would love to try it!
You should review about lip liners or lipstain =) and talking about lipstain...I started making my own because again, way too expensive.

Bare Minerals has a horrible ingredient in it called Bismuth Oxychloride. I don't trust it at all. They claim it adds glow, but it really just cuts up tiny cuts in your face and causes itching and swelling. I don't trust it at all. -
I suffer from eczema so mineral makeup is really good for my skin. I love YOUNGBLOOD mineral makeup ♥ -
Pur Minerals is my favorite mineral foundation. Some concealer for dark circles and problem areas + Pur Minerals 4 in 1 Mineral Foundation = a happy me! It lasts really long with minimal touchups. A little pricey at $29, but totally worth it! -
i love using mineral mineral makeup and especially bare minerals, my go to for all things mineral makeup. i love their variety of different forms that they have such as their recent READY compact version as well as their loose powder version. i also love how all their products come with a filter that can be closed that makes it perfect for travel and on the go touch ups that doesn't make a mess, and that they have such a wide array of shades which makes a perfect match when choosing a shade. primer is a definite must when using mineral make up, it makes very smooth canvas. -

Hands down Merle Norman Mineral Foundation. I currently use Bare Minerals but Merle Norman is actually more natural the Bare Minerals. It has an amazing glow to it, and I highly recommend trying it, and even if I go the the pool it has a water resistance. But my pressed powder Bare Minerals is beautiful too. :) -
I use bare minerals , and my friends have said I look plastic and fake.
A good tip, if using powder makes your face dry, It's good to put moisturizer on your face, works well :D -
My fave is Bare Minerals. For combination skin its great. Its my everyday makeup or how i say my "lazy makeup". Gives that smooth matte finish that is not cakey. Also perfect for those hot summer days. It wont melt off like liquid. -
I use Innika which is certified organic and I'm told doesn't have "fillers" like lots of other mineral powders do to help make them cheaper. Innika retails for $55-60AUD and comes in powder and liquid options - I like the powder but don't like how it goes everywhere, the liquid offers more coverage which is handy when I need it. Both last all day in the office, don't break me out and photograph pretty well! -
I still use it from time to time-either Bare Minerals or Joppa. I think it does accentuate fine lines however, so now I usually use it just to set, or sometimes to conceal. I recently tried Almay Wake Up Hydrating Makeup-I don't know if it's technically a mineral makeup or not, but it feels so good on the skin & it does not look dry or settle into fine lines like the above mentioned products. -
I am not a huge fan of mineral makeup. Although it says its great for your skin, I feel like its a hassle to use and does not give as much coverage when used alone. It also made my mom breakout.

I use Bare Minerals' Original powder foundation every time I put my make-up on. I love how soft it feels as I'm putting it on, and that I can't really feel it as the day progresses! It's expensive, yes, but it lasts me a looooong time! -
I have used mineral make up but I dont like it because it transfers off to clothing (embarassing when its not your shirt) and it didnt stay on long for me. I used bare minerals. -
I'm not really into mineral makeup, if only because I don't have the money to try out a new product. I can only get a new foundation when I'm out of foundation. And I'm not all that interested in this, never really have been. -
Omg I wanted to get revlons aqua mineral powder, but my mom wouldn't let me because she told me mineral makeup clogs your pores......whatever I'm buying it anyways!!!! Lol -

I don't use mineral makeup very often anymore (too many fine lines), but I do like the texture & coverage from Mary Kay. I think a lot of people forget about or write them off, but they have great quality products. I'd like to see some reviews about their products-it can be pricey to buy without knowing what others have thought!!

I love "alima pure".
I've been using this brand for more than 3years.
I like the matte finishing foundation and not so expensive.
Their variety of color is amazing.
Everbody can find their color! -

I tried using mineral makeup but it just made my face itchy :( I guess one of the minerals just did not agree with me.
