Hi everyone,
I don't know about you, but I hate getting static hair. And unfortunately, it's prime season for this beauty problem since cold weather causes static electricity to build up in our hair. But there's a very easy way to get rid of the static: use a dryer sheet.
All you have to do is take a dryer sheet and rub it over your hair so that the hair lies flat on your head. You can also rub the dryer sheet on your hairbrush before you brush your hair. Put a few in a small, sandwich-sized Ziplock bag, and keep it in your purse for emergencies. Be sure to find dryer sheets that don't conflict with your perfume or unscented ones because the scent will linger on your hair.

Great tip, thanks :) Works for my hair. But I have a bigger problem with the clothes. Any softer skirt or dress gets static on me and sticks to my body. Any solution? :) -

My mom tought me this trick YEARS ago when I started straightening my hair. it's great if you forget to use a serum OR if you don't use conditioner. It makes perfect sense, you want the static out of your clothes why not your hair? Lol
Also, at urbanoutfitters.com they have "hair chalk" or hair makeup and I've never seen that before so I'm skeptical. Can you please do a tutorial on that? I'd love to see how to use it in case I decide to pick one up sometime.
P.S. you're ah-mazing!

What i do is take a very teeny tiny amout of lotion- not too much or else your hair will get greasy, just a thin layer on your hands works well- and rub it all over my hair. This works really well.

Well, I do rinse my hair in cold water after I shampoo and then after I condition it, but my shampoo and conditioner sucks. :( -
