Hi everyone,
Traveling is a tricky business because you want to master the art of being comfortable, versatile, and stylish. Not only are trains, planes, and buses chilly, but often times we're traveling from one kind of climate to another. Bottom line is that it's not easy to dress for travel!
The best advice I can give you is to dress in layers. That way you can add or remove articles of clothing depending on how hot or cold you get. I suggest wearing three layers of tops. You'll also want to wear shoes that are easy to take on and off. I won't tell you not to wear heels because sometimes it's nice to look chic at the airport! Depending on the travel restrictions, I always like to have a big bag with lots of compartments. That way I can store all the little random things I'll need for the trip and wherever I'm going.
Here's my guide for traveling in style going to and from each different climate:
1. Mango Cotton Tank-Top
2. J.Crew Vintage Cotton V-Neck Tee

i always have a travel outfit formula, because i fly at least twice a year.
i wear a tank, a long-sleeved or short sleeve tee (depending on the weather), jeans, a cardigan or open sweater, flats, and a scarf. I wear these cute little nude socks too so i won't have to walk on the gross floor in my bare feet. I bring a bag like the one you have above, with lots of pockets (that i actually bought from justfab.com, thanks to you) and if it's cold i carry a peacoat and gloves, etc. -

My fiance and I traveled to Illinois a couple weeks ago and I decided to go as comfortable as possible (solid grey sweats, flip flops then boots, a long tank top and a light big cardi then a jacket) because we drove the whole way from Florida and it got COLD really fast once we hit Georgia. I hate flying in that way because I get too warm so instead of dressing like it's 20 degrees outside, I keep warm things like a scarf, jacket, boots and long socks in my carry-on bag for a quick change before bracing the cold weather outside! It's a lot easier than it sounds and it's keeps you way more comfortable during long trips.

Layering is the best way to go! I usually don't bother with a coat/jacket on the plane. I keep that in my hand luggage. I go for leggings, a thin longsleeve, a long tank on top, and top it off with a poncho. I combine that with either a flat boot or a wedge heel. I know that it can get cold on the travel to and from the airport and more-so when in the air - but I tend to run warm when travelling from all the hustling about and so a thick poncho is enough for me. If it's raining or snowing, then I opt for my awesome snowboots (yes with leggings!) and a fleece under a light raincoat instead of the poncho. That way I can fold the raincoat into my carry on if I get too warm and the fleece will keep me warm on the plane :) Loving that Etsy bag
