The Ombre Trend: New Lengths
Hi everyone,
The ombre hair trend really seemed to turn heads this summer. We saw everything from bright dip-dyes to subtle peek-a-boos, and I even got a little color crazy with the help of my friend, Daven. But as we approach fall/winter, I don't think this trend is going to fade anytime soon.
A new spin on the ombre look was recently featured in Prada's Fall/Winter 2012 campaign (check out the video below!) - throwing the traditional standard of ombre hair out the window, the models rocked everything from black to red to blonde tips; often with the darker or bolder of the two colors on the bottom, rather than the roots. The effect is really interesting... What do you think?

When I went to do my hair for prom at this school for art, since the students are license to do hair and make up, the guy that did my hair and make up had told me about this trend which I had never heard of it. Then I reserached it & I like this trend, I think it's nice(;

Hmm I like it.. I've always wanted to get ombre in my hair but i've never dyed it before and needless to say I am afraid of the damage it may cause!

I like the style dark to red; I did brown to pink this summer, but it fads fast with a variety of styles. A great shoot look, but the switching in colors would be harsh on an everyday look.

I remember it being around 2004-2005, when I last saw this hairstyle... on Avril Lavigne. Hasn't been long enough for it to come back yet, I think!!!!

I think I could pull this off. I used to have rainbow hair. Prada models.....they make me curious as to where they were found. We are always wanting to be unique yet they all look the same.
