Words of Wisdom: Beauty Musings, Round 2
Hi everyone,
Last month, I shared some of my favorite quotes on beauty, and I wanted to give you a few more to think about. These ones will definitely lead to some soul searching and introspection, but I think that they'll also serve as self-esteem boosters.

Wow, I guess all of them has are inspiring and have their share of pure Truth in them. Particularly, my favourite quote is a line from the movie "The Black Swan" that fits perfectly not also for make up and beauty but for everything in our lifes : "Perfection isn't just about tecnique, is also about loosing yourself." -
The last one. I've had two people tell me I was beautiful in my 32 years. One was my mother and the other was the man I married who then left me and my daughter. Living with him was torture when he could say I was beautiful but he wouldn't touch me to even hug me and sabotaged everything in our lives. My skin is ravaged by acne so it's all icepicked because I have PCOS. My joints are deteriorating and my skin looks like it's rusting because of Psoriatic Arthritis. When I was a child and had smooth skin and long lustrus hair whole classrooms of peers, teachers even my dad treated me like dirt calling me ugly and stupid and useless. Whatever beauty I had is now gone. I tell my little girl everyday how beautiful she is. I pray over her and try to keep faith that she will be spared the genetic horrors and the deeply scarring abuse I had to go through. I don't want her to shy away from reflective surfaces the way I do.

I love the last one. It is so nice. Also the first one is pretty good, but she doesnt need to worry about beauty, she doesn't have any blemishes!
