Hi everyone,

Let’s face it. Whether you like it or not, most of us girls have at least a little bit of facial fuzz goin’ on. Depending on how we’ve “developed,” this facial hair can darken to the point of being noticeable. I know many women who wax, tweeze, shave (!), whatever to get rid of this situation. But these methods require a lot of upkeep, and probably aren’t necessary for the majority of women.

SO, I prefer bleaching!

I recommend Sally Hansen’s facial bleach. It’s inexpensive, available most places, and works like a charm!

Before trying any products, read the ingredients to ensure you aren’t allergic to any of the components. Then, try a patch test before applying it to your face. Once you know you’re good with the product, start with a clean face (use a gentle soap) and refer to the times on the package. Err on the side of taking it off too soon rather than leaving it on too long; you can always reapply if you haven’t achieved the desired lightness. After you have finished the bleaching process, wash your face, and dry it with a clean towel that you don’t care too much about, just in case any of the bleach transfers.

Here’s a picture of yours truly bleaching my face:

Not my most glamorous photo, but hey, that’s the price of beauty I guess!

Have you ever tried bleaching your mustache? Or have you tried any other techniques that you’ve found success with? It might not be a popular topic, but we all have to deal with it!
