Anyway, sorry to hear about your dilemma. I have had acne and acne scarring for 12 years of my life. It's difficult and it definitely takes a toll on my self-esteem. I doubt you have severe acne scarring at your young age. You're 13 years old going through puberty, so perhaps you'll grow out of it eventually. Just remember to continue eating healthy, drink plenty of water, if you wear makeup then make sure it doesn't contain chemicals that will clog your pores. Make sure your concealer/foundation is non-comedogenic or non-acnegenic. Wash your face 1-2 times a day with a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide facial cleanser. Avoid a lot of junk food and try to keep your stress levels low. Exercise is a good way to get rid of toxins in the body and will help to level out your hormones. Maybe you should invest in ProActiv - it's a 3 step face cleaning process that's very popular in the United States. Unfortunately the biggest things that influence acne are hormones and genetics. And you're at the peak of puberty which is going to be an ongoing battle. Just know that you're not alone and EVERYONE experiences acne. Ask your family for advice, ask a doctor for advice. There are plenty of people to help you, including people on here like me. Michelle Phan cannot answer or respond to everybody's posts on here. So do not blame her. You're going to find better advice elsewhere than on this Web site anyway. Do your research and perhaps see a dermatologist. I hope this helps.
