New Tutorial: DIY Anti-Acne Honey Cinnamon Mask

Hi everyone,

Yes, the holidays are the most wonderful time of the year, but the month of December isn’t what I could call stress free. And for many of us, that means breakouts. I am a huge fan of using face masks to help alleviate acne, so I thought I’d share with you my DIY honey cinnamon mask. Check out my latest tutorial for all the details:

The best thing about this face mask is that you can use it everyday, so take advantage of all the beauty benefits honey and cinnamon have to offer! I highly recommend using Manuka honey from New Zealand because of its strong antibacterial properties. Cinnamon will work to bring blood and oxygen back to your skin and to dry out the pimples. Honey and cinnamon are an unbeatable combination that any and all acne sufferers should incorporate into their skincare regime.

This video was great! Thanks. I don’t have easy access to Manuka honey, so I used a local honey from nearby. You’re right about how tasty this mask is!
Honey, as we know, contains the natural sugars fructose and glucose which have a low specific heat, meaning it doesn’t take much to heat them up. I think thirty seconds in a normal microwave (anywhere between 600-1200 watts) is too much. My honey was boiling after 20 seconds and left a sticky mess in my microwave. I’d suggest 30 seconds on the low setting or 5-10 seconds on the high setting.
