You might have noticed that I used some pink eye shadow in this tutorial…it can definitely be tricky (pick the wrong shade and you could look like you’re having an allergic reaction!), but it’s so pretty when used correctly. My advice? If you’re a pink eye shadow newbie, go for sheer, subtle pinks and pair with browns and golds. Or, try pinks with purple and blue undertones – it’s easier to blend these with other colors and they tend to be more universally flattering. If you’re feeling more adventurous, definitely experiment with different tones, sheens and techniques. For a “going out” look, try swapping out your standard black eyeliner for a bold and pretty pink liner instead– finish off with two coats of mascara for extra drama!
