Today, I wanted to share a simple beauty tip with all of you that’ll help fight hair frizz.  Some of you may already know that you’re not supposed to rub your hair with a towel after showering because it can cause split ends and breakage.  But even squeeze-drying your hair with a towel can make your hair rough (not to mention take forever to dry!). There are micro-fiber towels on the market that are supposed to dry your hair more quickly and smooth your strands, but they can get expensive.

The solution? A simple cotton t-shirt! The smoothness of a tee causes less friction when drying your hair, and therefore less frizziness.  This trick works especially well for curly-haired girls, because a t-shirt won’t mess up your natural curl pattern like a towel does.

So next time you step out of a shower, sub in a t-shirt for your towel and gently squeeze sections of your hair.  Then flip your head over and wrap the t-shirt turban-style for 5-10 minutes.  Unwrap, apply your after-shower hair products, and style as usual.
